Once a group of 50 people was attending a seminar.

Suddenly the speaker stopped and started giving each person a balloon.

ทันใดนั้น ผู้พูดหน้าห้องสัมมนาก็หยุดพูด และแจกลูกโป่งให้ผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนาคนละ 1 ลูก

Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen.

แต่ละคนได้รับการขอร้องให้เขียนชื่อของตัวเองลงบนลูกโป่ง โดยใช้ปากกามาร์กเกอร์

Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.

หลังจากนั้น ลูกโป่งทั้งหมดถูกเก็บและนำไปไว้ในอีกห้องหนึ่ง

Now these delegates were let in that room

ตอนนี้ ผู้เข่าร่วมสัมมนาถูกปล่อยให้เข้าไปในห้องนั้น

and asked to find the balloon which had their name written, within 5 minutes.

และถูกขอให้หาลูกโป่งที่เขียนชื่อของตน ภายใน 5 นาที

Everyone was frantically searching for their name,

ทุกคนก็หาลูกโป่งที่มีชื่อตัวเองอย่างโกลาหล

pushing, colliding with each other, and there was utter chaos.

ทั้งผลักทั้งชนกัน จนชุลมุนไปหมด

At the end of 5 minutes, no one could find their own balloon.

เมื่อหมดเวลา 5 นาที ไม่มีใครเจอลูกโป่งที่มีชื่อของตัวเองสักคน

Now each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it.

คราวนี้มาถึงรอบใหม่ แต่ละคนถูกบอกให้หยิบลูกโป่งลูกใดก็ได้มา 1 ลูก และนำไปให้เจ้าตัวตามชื่อบนลูกโป่ง

Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.

แค่ 2 - 3 นาที ทุกคนก็มีลูกโป่งที่มีชื่อตัวเองอยู่ในมือ

The speaker began:

ผู้พูดซึ่งดำเนินกิจกรรม กล่าวว่า:

This is exactly happening in our lives.

การหาความสุขในชีวิตของคนเราไม่ต่างจากนี้แม้แต่นิดเดียว

Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around,

ทุกคนวุ่นวายมุ่งหาความสุขให้ตัวเอง

not knowing where it is.

โดยไม่รู้ด้วยซ้ำว่าความสุขนั้นอยู่ที่ไหน

Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people.

แต่แท้จริงแล้ว ความสุขในชีวิตของเรา อยู่ในความสุขของชีวิตคนอื่น

Give them their happiness, you will get your own happiness.

เมื่อให้ความสุขของเขา เราก็จะได้รับความสุขของเรา

And this is the purpose of human life.

และนี่คือวัตถุประสงค์ของชีวิตมนุษย์ทุกคน
