PM orders Chalerm to visit far South

18 Feb 2013 : Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung, who oversees security affairs in the deep South, said on Monday he had been "forced" by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to finally make a visit to the southernmost provinces.

18 Feb 2013 : Security agencies have agreed the government should replace the draconian Executive Decree for Administration in an Emergency Situation, or the emergency decree, with the softer Internal Security Act (ISA) in the insurgency-hit far South, National Security Council (NSC) secretary-general Paradorn Pattanathabutr said on Monday.
