เขานำ 10 สำนวนเกี่ยวกับหัวใจมาคุยให้ฟัง  ผมเห็นว่าเข้าท่าและหลายอันก็คุ้น  เลยสรุปความมาเล่าต่อ ท่านจะลองเก็บไปพูดจริงหรือพูดเล่น ก็ทำได้ตามอัธยาศัยครับ

       แต่ผมอยากชวนให้ท่านเข้าไปอ่านที่ลิงก์ด้วยนะครับ  เพราะที่สรุปมานี่มันคร่าวไปหน่อย

1. From the bottom of my heart

จากก้นบึ้งของหัวใจ เช่น ตอนจะกล่าวขอบคุณ ท่านก็พูดอย่างนี้ได้

 ตัวอย่าง

I'm happy, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.

2. With all my  heart

ด้วยใจทั้งหมด, หมดทั้งใจ เช่น ท่านร้องเพลงนั้นเพลงนี้ชนิดหมดหัวใจ ก็คือร้อง with all my  heart

ตัวอย่าง 

My own family I loved with all my heart.
I congratulate you with all my heart.

3. I have a soft spot in my heart for you  หรือสั้น ๆ ว่า having a soft spot for you

สำนวนนี้ปกติไม่ได้หมายถึงเรื่องที่โรแมนติก แต่หมายความทำนองว่า ท่านเคยผ่านอะไรร่วมมากับเขา หรือในอดีตเขาเคยทำอะไรที่ท่านรัก  หรือยังหมายความว่า ท่านไม่ถือสาพร้อมที่จะมองข้ามอะไรอะไรแย่ ๆ ที่เขาเคยทำให้เห็นโต้ง ๆ

 ตัวอย่าง

she had a soft spot for her youngest son
I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Mary.

4. Pouring my heart out

ท่านมีเรื่องราวความรู้สึกในใจอะไรเทออกให้เห็นหมดไม่เก็บไว้เลย

ตัวอย่าง

I ​poured my ​heart out to him and then he told all his ​friends what I'd said.

5. Wearing your heart on your sleeve

ถ้าท่าน Wear your heart on your sleeve ก็หมายความว่าท่านรู้สึกอะไร รู้สึกยังไง ก็เผยให้เห็นหมด

ตัวอย่าง

John always has his heart on his sleeve so that everyone knows how he feels.
Because she wears her heart on her sleeve, it's easy to hurt her feelings.

6. I don’t have the heart to do that

ท่านพูดตอบอย่างนี้ถ้าเขามาขอให้ทำอะไรแล้วท่านรู้สึกว่ามันโหดร้าย หรือจะทำให้คนอื่นขุ่นเคือง

ตัวอย่าง

I just don't have the heart to tell him the bad news.
I don’t have the heart to tell her.

7. To be young at heart

คนที่ young at heart แม้อายุสัก 50 แล้วก็อาจจะทำตัวยังกะหนุ่ม ๆ สาว ๆ อายุ 20 เช่น ชอบขึ้นรถไฟเหาะตีลังกาที่สวนสนุก   นอกจากนี้ยังหมายถึงคนที่รู้สึก พูด คิด เหมือนหนุ่ม ๆ สาว ๆ

ตัวอย่าง

 She loves carnivals and fairs; she's a grandmother but she's young at heart.

I am over 70 but I still feel young at heart. 

8. Tugging at the heartstrings

แปลว่า ทำให้เกิดอารมณ์รุนแรง เช่น เศร้า สงสาร  สำนวนนี้ยังหมายถึง หนังหรือเพลงที่ทำออกมาให้คนดูคนฟังรู้สึกอย่างนี้

ตัวอย่าง

It's the story of a lost child - guaranteed to tug at the heartstrings.

9. Cross my heart  (and hope to die)

พูดอย่างนี้เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นหนักแน่นว่า  ไอ้ที่ท่านพูดนี่จริงนะ และที่สัญญาไว้ก็จะทำแน่นอน  และถ้าเป็นคำถามว่า “Cross your heart?” ก็คือถามเน้นย้ำว่า นี่พูดจริง ๆ แน่นะ?

ตัวอย่าง

I want to go to the party with you, not Sarah - cross my heart!

10. Find it in your heart

ถ้าใครพูดอย่างนี้กับท่านก็หมายความว่า เขาให้ท่านคิดดูอีกครั้งให้ดี ๆ หรือเขาอาจจะพูดหว่านล้อมให้ท่านทำอะไรสักอย่าง  หรือให้ท่านเปลี่ยนใจ

ตัวอย่าง

Could you find it in ​your ​heart to ​forgive her?
