Rubber farmers use burnt police vehicles yesterday เมื่อวานนี้ ชาวสวนยางใช้พาหนะตำรวจที่ถูกเผาto block a road near Khuan Nong Hong intersection in Nakhon Si Thammarat province’s Cha-uat district ปิดขวางถนนใกล้สี่แยกเขานางหงส์ ในอำเภอชะอวด ของจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราชduring their protest over low rubber prices. ระหว่างการประท้วงเรื่องราคายางที่ถูก PATIPAT JANTHONG

They also advised motorists to take alternative routes พวกเขา(ตำรวจ) ยังได้แนะนำให้ผู้ใช้รถยนต์ใช้เส้นทางอื่นand avoid Khuan Nong Hong intersection. และหลีกเลี่ยงเส้นทางสี่แยกควนหนองหงส์

National police chief Pol Gen Adul said ผบ.ตำรวจแห่งชาติ  พล.ต.อ. อดุลย์   กล่าวว่า  police have issued warrants for the arrest of 19 protesters. ตำรวจได้ออกหมายจับผู้ประท้วง 19 คนSome of them have already been detained. บางคนได้ถูกคุมตัวไว้แล้ว

Parik Panchuay, a coordinator of rubber farmers in Cha-uat district, said yesterday ปาริก ปานช่วย ผู้ประสานงานชาวสวนยางอำเภอชะอวดกล่าวเมื่อวานนี้ว่าthe government should meet for talks with representatives of rubber farmers รัฐบาลควรจะพบเพื่อพูดคุยกับตัวแทนชาวสวนยางwho have refused to accept the government's offer. ผู้ซึ่งปฏิเสธที่จะยอมรับข้อเสนอของรัฐบาล

He said rubber farmers in the district เขา (นายปาริก) กล่าวว่า ชาวสวนยางในอำเภอ (ชะอวด)were willing to talk with the government. เต็มใจที่จะพูดคุยกับรัฐบาล

Mr Parik also urged the government to go on television นายปาริกยังได้เร่งเร้ารัฐบาลให้ออกโทรทัศน์to announce details of measures to help the farmers.  เพื่อประกาศรายละเอียดของมาตรการที่จะช่วยเหลือเกษตรกร(ชาวสวนยาง)

The protesters have blocked roads on and off since late last month ผู้ประท้วงได้ปิดและเปิดถนนสลับกันเป็นระยะ ๆ ตั้งแต่ปลายเดือนที่แล้วto demand the government raise its price guarantee for unsmoked rubber sheet เพื่อเรียกร้องให้รัฐบาลเพิ่มราคาประกันยางแผ่นไม่รมควันto 100 baht per kilogramme ขึ้นเป็นกิโลกรรมละ 100 บาทand introduce a 6-baht/kg price guarantee for oil palm nuts. และประกันราคาปาล์มน้ำมันกิโลกรัมละ 6 บาท

Most rubber farmer representatives earlier ก่อนหน้านี้ ตัวแทนชาวสวนยางส่วนใหญ่accepted the government's offer ยอมรับข้อเสนอของรัฐบาลof a 2,520-baht-per-rai cultivation subsidy.  เกี่ยวกับเงินอุดหนุน(ปัจจัยการผลิต)ไร่ละ 2,520 บาท

           With the reduced production cost, the government said รัฐบาลกล่าวว่า ด้วยราคาการผลิตที่ลดน้อยลงthe farmers will be able to obtain an income of about 90 baht/kg for rubber sheet. ชาวสวนยางก็จะสามารถได้รับรายได้จากยางแผ่นกิโลกรัมละประมาณ 90 บาท
